Bernard Herrmann, né le 29 juin 1911 à New York et mort le 24 décembre 1975 à Los Angeles, est un compositeur et chef d’orchestre américain. Il doit sa réputation internationale aux musiques qu'il écrivit pour les films d'Alfred Hitchcock.
Bernard Herrmann (* 29.Juni 1911 in New York City; † 24. Dezember 1975 in Los Angeles) war ein US-amerikanischer Dirigent und Komponist, der durch seine Filmkompositionen bekannt wurde. Besondere Berühmtheit erlangte Herrmann durch seine Zusammenarbeit mit Regisseur Alfred Hitchcock, für den er unter anderem die Musik zu den Filmklassikern Psycho und Vertigo komponierte.
