Originally a Las Vegas singer, Rossi rose to prominence as the straight man in a comic duo with Martin Allen in the late 1950s. The duo became regulars on American variety TV shows and made their feature debut in The Last of the Secret Agents? (1966) before splitting two years later. Rossi then teamed up with Slappy White for The Man From O.R.G.Y. (1970).
