Anjli Mohindra launched her professional acting career when she made her debut TV appearance as Shareen in two episodes of the long-running ITV soap opera “Coronation Street” (2005-2006), after which she landed her breakthrough role of Rani Chandra in the CBBC sci-fi programme “The Sarah Jane Adventures”, from 2008 to 2011.
