Leben und Karriere. Eve Best wuchs in Ladbroke Grove, London, auf und besuchte die Wycombe Abbey Girl’s School, bevor sie an der University of Oxford begann, Englisch zu studieren. She is well know for her work in Showtime’s Nurse Jackie as Dr. Eleanor O’Hara and the American Experience television special as First Lady Dolley Madison. Best won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Play for her role as Hedda Gabler in Hedda Gabler in 2005.
