  1. 21 de nov. de 2022 · Danny Kalb, a guitarist whose 1960s band the Blues Project brought New York City drive and experimentation to blues-rock, died on Saturday at a nursing home in Brooklyn, where he lived. He was 80. His death was confirmed by his brother, Jonathan, his only immediate survivor.

  2. Danny Kalb, born on September 19, 1942 in Brooklyn, NYC, USA, was a guitarist and an original member of The Blues Project, formed in 1965. He has also worked as session musician, performing with such folk singers as Judy Collins, Phil Ochs, Pete Seeger and Bob Dylan. Kalb and the blues ethnomusicologist Samuel B. Charters formed The New Strangers.
