Phil Miller (Barnet, 22 gennaio 1949 – 18 ottobre 2017) è stato un chitarrista, compositore, produttore discografico ed imprenditore discografico inglese. Artista eclettico, si è messo in luce soprattutto nell'ambito del rock progressivo , divenendo uno dei più ricercati chitarristi della scena di Canterbury .

Since then it has recorded eight records, retained two players (guitarist Phil Miller and saxophonist Elton Dean), and expanded to a sextet.
Phil Miller (* 22. Januar 1949 in Barnet, Hertfordshire; [1] † 18. Oktober 2017 [2]) war ein britischer Fusion - und Progressive-Rock -Gitarrist, der unter anderem in verschiedenen Bands der Canterbury-Szene aktiv war.
Released 2011. The last band Phil played in was Jack Monck’and Friends in 2017. The line up was Phil Miller guitar, Jack Monck bass, Mard Hadley tenor sax and flute, Paul Dufour drums. Following several years of deteriorating health Phil died from cancer on the 18th October 2017.
History. The band was formed in November 1982 by Miller with Pip Pyle (drums), Richard Sinclair (bass) and Elton Dean (), as the Phil Miller Quartet.It was expanded to a quintet and given its definitive name when Peter Lemer (keyboards) joined in early 1983.
