Mark Mulcahy: Fathering I first came across Mark Mulcahy in the mid-`80s as the singer of The Miracle Legion, who, with the mini-album “The Backyard”, produced the best REM album REM never made and apparently only known to a handful of devotees of Andy Kershaw's radio show of that time.
