Branford Marsalis est un saxophoniste et clarinettiste, compositeur de jazz et acteur américain né le 26 août 1960 au Pont Breaux, Louisiane.Fils d'Ellis Marsalis Jr., il est le frère des musiciens de jazz Jason Marsalis, Delfeayo Marsalis et Wynton Marsalis.De 1992 à 1995, il dirige le Tonight Show Band de la très populaire émission de télévision américaine.
