Jim Masdea. He was the original drummer for Boston, but replaced by Sib Hashian in 1976, just before the band released its debut album. However, he had been heavily involved in arranging the songs for the debut Boston album, and did play drums on one song, "Rock and Roll Band." He returned to the lineup for the Third Stage album and tour.

24 de mar. de 2017 · During the late ’60s and early ’70s, Tom and two musicians, singer Brad Delp and drummer Jim Masdea, spent more than six years playing, editing, and replaying tracks to create a demo album. Tom built each song in his basement studio, overdubbing Jim’s drum tracks with guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals, one layer at a time.
