Sven Pipien’s age is 56. Hard rock musician who rose to fame as the bassist of the band The Black Crowes. After the dissolution of The Black Crowes in 2015, he went on to become a founding member of Magpie Salute. The 56-year-old bassist was born in Hanover, Germany. During the late 1980’s, he performed with a band called Mary, My Hope.
Upon their return from the road, they knew they needed something new to show for their lost time. The Robinson Brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien headed to the studio with producer Jay Joyce in early 2023 and the experiences of years past transcribed themself through the music as the band found their way back to their roots.
As of August 2023, the Black Crowes lineup is: Chris Robinson – lead vocals, harmonica, guitar. Rich Robinson – guitar, backing vocals. Nico Bereciartua – guitar, backing vocals (touring only) Sven Pipien – bass, backing vocals. Cully Symington – drums, percussion (touring only)
