Peter Wood, Assistant Dean Online Instruction, has a BMath, MMath, and PhD (Pure Mathematics) from the University of Waterloo. He received his PRM designation in 2008 and was a finalist for the PRM Candidate of the Year. Peter was the Director of the Math and Business Programs from 2001 to 2013 and then from 2019 to 2020.

A former professor of anthropology and college provost, he is the author of several books about American culture, including Diversity: The Invention of a Concept (2003) and Wrath: America Enraged (2021). He is the editor in chief of the journal Academic Questions and a widely published essayist.
