Zak Rizvi. Profile: Guitarist & engineer from New York (NY, USA). He is the owner and chief engineer of The Den recording Studio (New York, NY, USA). He plays guitar in the progressive rock band 4Front. He plays guitar and does the backing vocals in the Rush -tribute band Power Windows. He played guitar in the band Turnstyles.
KANSAS would like to welcome guitarist Zak Rizvi back to the band! Zak will re-join the band on tour starting on April 26 in Morristown, NJ. Zak was a member of KANSAS from 2016-2020. He performed on, co-produced, and wrote many of the songs for the albums “The Prelude Implicit” and “The Absence of Presence.”

26 de sept. de 2016 · Part of that renewed enthusiasm has been generated by the addition of guitarist Zak Rizvi. Rizvi had initially been approached to produce the album, but after he mentioned that he had written a number of demos with Kansas in mind, the band listened to them and were immediately convinced that he could play a more pivotal role.
After discussing it with the other guys, Zak and I took a walk together in the studio parking lot, and I invited him to join. Zak accepted.
