Skrew has always had issues layering both the electronic and organic percussive elements together in a truly head-bobbing manner, and while Dusted is definitely no exception in this regard, the ability to defer to more quality riffs fills in a lot of the gaps. The follow-up Dusted, released in 1994, is perhaps the outfit's finest offering and received plenty of critical acclaim just as Skrew's previous record had, but sales and interest in the group must not have been growing fast enough for Grossman and the musician decided to change his musical direction. The result was 1996's Shadow of a Doubt.
5 de may. de 1994 · Dusted has a lot of great songs that work this way such as 'Picasso', 'Jesus Skrew' ,'Season' and of course probably the best example of this on the album 'Moutful'. BUT what really surprised me in this album are the two songs that actually have slowish sludge/doom riffs 'Albatross' and the brilliant highpoint of this masterpiece 'Sour'.
