30 de dic. de 2022 · Cheryl Cooley is a musician and guitarist who was part of the legendary all-female RnB group KLYMAXX.Raised in Los Angeles, California, Cheryl knew from a young age that music was going to play an intricate role in her life. In a discussion with Cheryl, I was able to learn about the twists and turns within the journey of KLYMAXX and how Cheryl has been able to keep the band’s legacy alive.
Once the core group had been established with guitarist Cheryl Cooley, keyboardist Lynn Malsby, and Robbin Grider, the search came to a sweet end once vocalist Lorena Porter (Stewart) came on board. Later, after signing their first contract, Cooper made personnel changes, and bassist/vocalist Joyce Irby.
