Find a Grave Memorial ID: 69721922. Source citation. First wife of Igor Stravinsky. They were cousins, knowing each other since early childhood, and were betrothed in 1905. In spite of the Orthodox Church's opposition to marriage between first cousins, they managed to marry on 23 January 1906.

A ella le dedicó una de sus primeras obras llamada “El fauno y la pastora” un año después. Posteriormente, en 1909 conoció a Serguéi Diáguilev, un empresario que organizaba presentaciones de ballets rusas.

On June 29, 1936, they married in Paris. Although his father had obtained French citizenship for himself and most of his family in 1934, Strawinsky remained stateless as a consequence of the Russian Revolution. He remained in France at the outbreak of World War II, enlisted in the French Army in 1939, and was deployed to Le Mans.

22 de nov. de 1979 · Catherine Nossenko Stravinsky, first wife of the composer, is not mentioned by name in the three references to her in his Autobiography (1935), and her roles in his life remain virtually unknown. Any full study of Stravinsky must include the story of both of his marriages, but while Vera Stravinsky’s place has been at least partly established, no publication does the same for Catherine.
Casado con Yekaterina Gabrielovna Nossenko desde 1906 hasta 1939, y con Vera de Bosset, de 1940 a 1971. Muerte Igor Stravinski falleció de insuficiencia cardíaca el 6 de abril de 1971 en Nueva York.
