  6. Eight in ten girls at leading independent girls’ school Heathfield in Ascot achieved all A*-C grades in their A level exams this summer with half gaining all A*-B grades. In a record year for the Berkshire school, over four in ten (42%) of the exams taken were also awarded the top A*-A grades with 91% of the exams taken scoring an A*-C grade.

  7. Lady Colquhoun of Luss BEd Dip T. Katharine, a former parent at Heathfield, has spent her life educating children. She founded Broomwood Hall School in south west London in 1984, then with her husband Malcolm, Northcote Lodge in 1993, St George’s School in Gondar Ethiopia in 2014 and Northwood Senior in 2020. Until September 2021 she was Principal and Chairman of Northwood Schools.
