Boston Conservatory at Berklee (formerly The Boston Conservatory) is a private performing arts conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts.It grants undergraduate and graduate degrees in dance, music, and theater. Boston Conservatory was founded on February 11, 1867, as a music conservatory and later expanded to include leading programs in dance, opera, and theater.
Boston Conservatory at Berklee grants $12.6 million annually in scholarships. More than 88 percent of students receive institutional grants and/or scholarship aid. Merit scholarships are awarded based on the strength of admissions entrance auditions; no paperwork is required to be considered for this award.
Boston Conservatory at Berklee offers an array of summer programs in dance, music, and theater for high school and college students on a performing arts degree track, as well as dance and musical theater day sessions for middle school-aged students who have an interest in the performing arts. Boston Conservatory at Berklee requires an audition and/or interview for all applicants, depending on your major. Once your application is submitted, you will receive instructions to register for your audition in the application portal. If your major requires a pre-screen, you must first submit your pre-screen materials by the deadline in order to be considered for a live audition.
