26 de jul. de 2006 · In some ways, the Mothers of Invention's BURNT WEENY SANDWICH picks up where HOT RATS, the fusion masterpiece their leader and guitarist Frank Zappa had released under his own name a few weeks earlier, left off. Both albums feature lengthy, largely improvised instrumental tracks, and both cross musical boundaries freely.

It sounds very similar to Uncle Meat besides WPLJ and Valarie, which of course sound like songs from Cruising With Ruben & the Jets. The songs in between would have snugly fit with the best of Uncle Meat.
