Samson Brown is a lazy and shiftless husband who lets his wife, Hannah, support the family. He is constantly insulted and annoyed by his in-laws, who live with them, and finally takes off for points unknown. At home, life goes on as usual with the exception of a former suitor who shows up to court Hannah when it is believed Samson is dead.

Synopsis. While waiting twenty-three years for a business deal to come through, Brown lets his wife and two children support him. Living with them are his in-laws, who insult him often. Ashamed, Brown leaves, and it is believed he is dead. The family continues to live as before, but an old suitor begins to court Brown's wife again.
"One Dark Night" is a 1982 horror feature directed by Tom McLoughlin. Something of a modest budget horror film, "One Dark Night" actually does quite a bit within its ability to make connectively fun film. The film has moments of wooden delivered schlock, conventionally centering its plot on teen melodrama principle.
