Whitney Young Magnet High School offers a very rigorous college preparatory curriculum with two programs: 1. The Magnet High School Program: Grades 9–12, with approximately 1,951 students. 2. The Academic Center: Grades 7–8, approximately 256 students. Both programs require special application and entrance testing.
