3 de may. de 2024 · You don’t drive your car by looking in the rear-view mirror.You look ahead and focus on the road in front, with regular gazes behind to ensure there is no upcoming danger from where you have just been or you haven’t clipped the wing mirror of a parked car (or worse).Measuring safety is similar (in my opinion).Regulators don’t care about 'where you’ve been'.
Psychological safety is not letting people do what they want. There are still organisational rules to comply with. It is not about agreeing with everyone to keep the peace. Disagreement is still part of work. And it doesn’t mean we have to continually praise people for every aspect of their work, regardless of how mediocre it is.
