9 de feb. de 2007 · I loved listening to Brook Benton's hit songs when they were played on the radio. Of course nowadays all you hear on the radio is Rap Music, Dance Music, or the new songs of 2000. Brook Benton does several duets with Dina Washington on this music cd, which is great because I also love listening to Dinah Washington's music.
Dinah Washington was one of the most beloved and versatile singers of the mid-20th century, at home in all kinds of music, be it R&B, blues, jazz, gospel, and pop. Hers was a gritty voice, marked by absolute clarity of diction and clipped, bluesy phrasing.

I enjoyed Dinah Washington and only was able to listen to her songs on Youtube, so after buying this I am so HAPPY that I did so. The songs of today honestly can not touch works of art like this. Troubling mind, I would have to say is the best song on the album, because she is able to really capture what you are feeling when you have a troubling mind.
