The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band (also known as The Bonzo Dog Band or The Bonzos) was created by a group of British art-school students in the 1960s. Combining elements of music hall, trad jazz and psychedelia with surreal humour and avant-garde art, the Bonzos came to public attention through a 1968 ITV comedy show, Do Not Adjust Your Set.

The Bonzo Dog Dada Band was formed in the period 1962-1965, named after George Studdy's famous 1920s/30s postcard puppy Bonzo Dog and the Dada anti-art movement. Vivian Stanshall and Rodney Slater (who shared digs) had rehearsal sessions in the Royal College of Art canteen, forming the Band, later changing the name to The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band .
