The Song Remains the Same ist ein Dokumentar-und Musikfilm nebst dazugehörigem Soundtrack der britischen Rockband Led Zeppelin.Die Aufnahmen hierzu wurden vom 27. bis 29. Juli 1973 während der drei Abschlusskonzerte ihrer US-Tournee im New Yorker Madison Square Garden gemacht. Doppelalbum und Film wurden erst drei Jahre später am 21.September 1976 bei Swan Song Records veröffentlicht.

This was an instrumental called "The Overture" before Robert Plant put lyrics to it. Led Zeppelin played it as shows before it was fully formed - Plant introduced it as "The Campaign" before the title was changed. Plant's vocals were sped-up. Jimmy Page always used his legendary double-necked guitar to play this live.
