I recently acquired this double CD by Freebass (It's a beautiful life); purely on the strength of Peter Hook. I have to say that Hooky's bass playing is still up to par and glad to hear some fresh voices on vocals. It has quite a few good tracks, but not a "Barn Burner" for sure. But, for a first outing I am reasonable satisfied.
By the time the group's debut EP, Two Worlds Collide, arrived, Rourke had relocated (amicably) to New York City, and the band had added vocalist Gary Briggs to the mix.
