Where we had bands with names like Jade Hexagram, Opal Butterly and Tinkerbell's Fairydust in 1967, by 1970 we had Toe Fat, Ancient Grease and 'Igginbottom's Wrench. The sleeve art also appeared to be a conscious attempt to get as far away from the swirling, flowery, fairytale art nouveau influenced themes of psychedelia into deliberately grotesque and ugly designs, such as this for Toe Fat 2.
Bandgeschichte. 1969 tat sich Cliff Bennett, nachdem er seine vorherige Band aufgelöst hatte, mit den Überresten der Gruppe The Gods zusammen und gab der neuen Band den Namen Toe Fat.
