Also, in addition to your original question: it doesn’t appear to be true in that the original intent was to be less guitar or “Jourgensen” based on some of the talks I’ve read then and now. Guitar was never something they were sensitive to avoid, in fact you heard it more prominently after Rabies than their past works.
