Nelsonites should know from the off that 'The Birth Of The Beat' appears in the edited form which is 3 minutes and was probably edited by Imperial when it was released as a b side.

Let There Be Drums/Drums are My Beat- Sandy Nelson. I heard Let There Be Drums in my early teens, and liked the song. I then purchased a "45" record of the song. It has been years since I have heard anything by Sandy Nelson on the "oldies stations" I listen to. When I saw this CD for sale I had to have it for my collection.
