After 1973's MOTT, a loosely structured concept album about life in a rock & roll band, the only obvious choice for a follow-up was 1974's THE HOOPLE, a loosely structured concept album about the overall state of rock & roll in the mid-'70s.
Hace 1 día · Mott the Hoople is not capable of producing a bad song, and this offers the best of the best. Personal favorite is "All the Way From Memphis", which I first heard while watching the 70's flick "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore".
