16 de may. de 2024 · St Benedict’s Parish of Newton-Auckland. In 1866, Bishop Pompallier blessed and opened the small wooden Church of St Francis de Sales in what was then East Street. This Church was to be used as a mortuary chapel in the Catholic cemetery, and served as an outpost of the Cathedral, to serve the large number of Catholics living in the Newton area.

Hace 6 días · Led by Japanese teacher, Kotani Yuki sensei, the Bilingual (Japanese Immersion) program was introduced at St Anthony’s Catholic College in 2020 to Year 1 students where Students study the Australian curriculum in Japanese and English. They spend a half day in the Japanese program and the other half in the English program.
