The working title is “Bad Land”, and it is set in Ethiopia and Australia 40 years in the future. This scene is in Ethiopia, a few days after Lisa arrives.

24 de may. de 2024 · Anyone who’s travelled with me knows that I delight in seeing infrastructure in the wild. From Nicaragua to Georgia to Ethiopia, I’ll ask them to drive slowly so that I can snap a picture of transmission lines or solar farms out the car window. I even made sure to document the infrastructure triumvirate (energy, telecoms and transport) atop Kilimanjaro: a solar array, cell tower and helipad.

19 de may. de 2024 · I visited India for the first time in 2023 and aside some mild suffocation in Delhi, I fell in love with the country. I’ve already visited twice since and already have plans to go back next year. Before I visited, though, I had not read much about India, nor had I received book recommendations by Indian or Indian-parented authors.
