This Abbey Road Anniversary release features the new stereo album mix, sourced directly from the original eight-track session tapes.To produce the mix, Giles Martin working with Sam Okell was guided by the album's original stereo mix and supervised by his father, George Martin.

In addition to the new mixes, there are surround sound 5.1 mixes presented as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio in the Blu-ray version and Dolby Digital and DTS in the DVD version.
