23 de may. de 2024 · Rick Wakeman contributed on piano shortly before joining Yes. Bowie co-produced the album with Ken Scott , who had engineered Bowie's previous two records. Compared to the guitar-driven hard rock sound of The Man Who Sold the World , Bowie opted for a warmer, more melodic piano-based pop rock and art pop style on Hunky Dory .

18 de may. de 2024 · Rick Wakeman is easily my favorite Yes keyboardist. I've got his 1970s albums and a little bit of his later solo stuff, but there's just so darn much of it. In terms of compilations (for people dipping their toes into the water), Voyage is a pretty good one....but Rick has condemned it as being unauthorized.
