Following a fairly short-ish ride (circa 3 hours) filled with a warning about impending hurricanes, we finally arrived at New Orleans to explore Preservation Hall, Gorge at mothers and take in all the jazz. You see, New Orleans was definitely one of the most anticipated stops on our USA road trip.

DAILY -shows are at 5pm, 6:15pm, 7:30pm, and 8:45pm with doors opening 15 minutes beforehand; Saturday and Sunday - they add a 2:30pm and 3:45 pm show.

Allan Jaffe founded that world-famous New Orleans jazz band after he and his wife, Sandra, moved there from Pottsville after their honeymoon. He was born in Pottsville in 1935 and passed away in 1987 at the age of 51.
