  1. 9 de may. de 2024 · My "poll" doesn't suggest anything. Folks who rank highly albums by those folks may well be suggesting that. My contribution will be mostly Anderson albums, though I also find The Steve Howe Album contains beautiful music. What matters to me is that music be enjoyable to hear not that it be challenging to play.

  2. 3 de may. de 2024 · The Steve Howe Album is my #2, and part of that high ranking is due to its great collection of instrumental work and another part is probably due to just how much better it is than Beginnings for me. I bought the latter first and was disappointed by not just the often-maligned vocals, but also the songs don't work well for me in general, melodically or otherwise.

  3. 3 de may. de 2024 · Peter Banks - Instinct (#60) - Haven't listened to this one in quite a long time but I do remember it having some really interesting material. Alan White - Ramshackled (#58) - This was in my top 10. Love it. Steve Howe - The Grand Scheme of Things (#57) - Very strong album, good tunes and decent singing from Steve.

  6. 3 de may. de 2024 · Not only great bass playing, but brilliant songwriting and I love Squire's lead voice. Just an epic recording, made even more so by the addition of the strings & woodwinds. If you haven't seen it, try to check out Squire's audio commentary on the album from 2007, what a great watch! It's up on YouTube. Steve Howe Album is pretty much perfect.
