11 de may. de 2024 · Seattle Homeless Outreach is operating as normal, and has been updated to align with health and safety recommendations to protect our clients and volunteers. The population we serve often has multiple vulnerabilities — age, compromised immune systems, extremely high rates of lung disease, and living outdoors — which makes the spread of disease extremely dangerous.

Hace 6 días · There was one bright spot in the darkness of the coronavirus pandemic in Cleveland last year: Fewer people were homeless and living on the streets. Chris Knestrick, director of the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH), estimates there was a roughly 30% decrease in the number of “unsheltered” people experiencing homelessness in Cleveland.
