Not too long after that opening night, Best’s son, Pete Best, joined the group we all know now as The Beatles.

a few days ago, when someone said they were going to liverpool on this page, i suggested that they book a tour of the casbah. this was by far the most incredible tour for us along with the national trust tour. the cavern has changed a lot and it was great fun to be there. but the casbah was in the basement of pete best's house and was closed ...
