I'm not familiar with Steven Wilson as a person but there's a particular Porcupine Tree song 'Arriving Somewhere but not Here' which can only have been written by a genius. I'm playing it now and still marveling at the lyrics, the song structure & the sheer haunting power of it.

It’s no fun and not interesting to me if it’s just purely noisy and doesn’t have any depth to it. We just tried to keep it interesting.
