A minimum grade of C in each course and an overall minimum GPA of 3.00 are required for the M.A. degree. All students must complete LIN 5503 (Introduction to Phonology) and LIN 5504 (Introduction to Syntax).

Complete at least 45 of these credits at Oakland University, of which at least 16 credits must be in the student’s elected major. Complete at least 32 credits in courses at the 3000 level or above.
