I've always loved "Party!", so I have no problem in awarding this two-fer with a five star rating. It was the only release from the 1990 CD campaign that I've kept through the years. The "Beach Boys' Party" is one of my favorite albums of theirs and "Stack-o-Tracks" is great to put on in the background.
A weird but entertaining Beach Boys twofer: Party! and Stack-O-Tracks. The price was right so I took a chance. Turns out, PARTY! is an enjoyable listen. It’s indeed a (fake) party with basically the boys (and a few girls) singing favourites, backed with acoustic guitars, bass, bongos and the odd harmonica.
