Boston College is a large, 4-year, private university. This coed college is located in a large town in a suburban setting and is primarily a residential campus. It offers bachelor's, certificate, master's, and doctoral degrees.

O'Connell of the class of 1893 and Joseph Drum of the class of 1894, to start a varsity football team. [13] Drum would become the first head coach, albeit an unpaid position and O'Connell was captain.
BC Law currently offers "3+3" or accelerated degree program partnerships with Boston College and with Scranton University. These programs allow applicants who meet certain criteria to spend their undergraduate senior year as a first-year student at BC Law, which means they can earn their undergraduate and law degrees in six years instead of seven—and save a year of tuition costs.
Boston College has an acceptance rate of 17%. Half the applicants admitted to Boston College who submitted test scores have an SAT score between 1435 and 1540 or an ACT score of 33 and 35.
