Durant sa jeunesse, il prend des leçons de musique à l’école qu’il abandonne très vite car on lui demande de jouer en plus du piano.

He may not be quite as well known, but Eddie arguably did as much as anyone to fuze jazz, country, and rhythm and blues to capture the very spirit of rock 'n' roll in his songs. Eddie was only 21 when he died.
