Roger Daltrey, in case you didn't know, is the lead singer of The Who, the band that originally released the "Tommy" LP in 1969. Therefore, there's no better authority to sing these songs. Daltrey toured in 2018 featuring the album with an orchestra backing him and his solo band (a standard rock ensemble featuring members of The Who's touring band) to great success.
