Castle Town is in the School 's Closet Dark World. It houses Ralsei 's Castle and the Fountain of Darkness. It is unique in its ability to host Darkners from other Dark Worlds. Initially, Ralsei is the only inhabitant. At the start of Chapter 2, Kris transfers residents of Card Kingdom to Castle Town.
This discrepancy was removed for Deltarune, with Kris's stats being 10 internally and as displayed. If one modifies Kris' EXP via hacking, it modifies their stats appropriately as the EXP system has been fully ported from Undertale. A file that is continued from Chapter 1 into Chapter 2 displays "Since Chapter 1" in the top-right part of the menu.
The Twisted Sword is currently one of two weapons equippable by Kris to not have a Light World counterpart, the other being the (also unused) Everybody Weapon. The Twisted Sword has Trance effect just like the Thorn Ring. However, unlike the Thorn Ring, this effect is nonfunctional in the Chapter 1 & 2 demo of Deltarune.
Hometown is a town featured in Deltarune. It is fully accessible at the end of each Chapter, and is currently the only Light World area available. Across the town, there apparently lie portals to the Dark World. When Kris is in Hometown, it is not possible to SAVE or access the Config menu.
