1996 - Broken China - 26 November 1996-----Identity is the only album by Zee, a short-lived partnership consisting of Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright and Dave Harris of New Romantic outfit Fashion. Released in 1984, Wright has stated that he feels Identity was an experiment that should never have been released.
The only Pink Floyd album Richard Wright didn't appear on was "The Final Cut" (1983), which was really a Roger Waters solo album in all but name. This album, Wet Dream (1978), was the first of two solo albums, with his second album "Broken China", following 18 years later in 1996.
Always otherworldly, the album shows off the wide range of musical moods and textures WRIGHT is capable of producing. Though he often goes unrecognized, WRIGHT's work truly is an influential, if sometimes subtle part of the PINK FLOYD sound. WRIGHT's vocals are noticeably different on Broken China than any of his earlier work.
