He was a Savoy Records artists in the 50s. In the '80s, Nappy recorded a superb album for Black Top Records "Something Gonna Jump Out the Bushes" featuring Anson Funderburgh, Eugene Ross, Ronnie Earl, and Earl King & the Roomful of Blues horn section.
