Flash and the Pan est un groupe de musique new wave australien fondé à la fin des années 1970 par les deux ex-membres des Easybeats : Harry Vanda et George Young. Ce dernier, étant le frère ainé d' Angus et de Malcolm Young (du groupe AC/DC ), a produit certains de leurs albums. Le groupe est connu entre autres pour les chansons :

Nights in France is the fifth album by Australian group Flash and the Pan, released in 1987. Three singles were released from the album, "Ayla", [1] "Money Don't Lie" [2] and "Yesterday's Gone". [3] 7" edits exist of all three singles. The 12" version of "Money Don't Lie" is longer than the single edit but simply an edit of the album version.
The season finale was a flash in the pan, else for the rest of the episodes, we barely even watched it. Unfortunately the high scores in the exam for my nephew was just a flash in the pan . I understand that the sales peak this time were a flash in the pan and that we may not be able to achieve such numbers again but let’s at least work towards realistic targets.

Flash and the Pan were an Australian new wave musical group formed in 1976 by Harry Vanda and George Young, both former members of the Easybeats, who formed a production and songwriting team known as Vanda & Young. The group's first chart success was their 1976 debut single, "Hey, St. Peter", which reached number five in the Australian Kent Music Report Singles Chart.
