In 2007, they were presented with the GRAMMY® Lifetime Achievement Award, while they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2012, and the Blues Hall of Fame in 2019.

Booker T. & the M.G.'s var en R&B - och soulgrupp. Gruppen bildades år 1962 i Memphis, Tennessee. MG sägs enligt olika historier antingen stå för "Memphis Group" eller bilmärket MG.
