Coursework in psychology, history, and public policy is paired with fieldwork in community-based organizations. Students live, work, and travel to Tanzania, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. Application Deadlines. Deadlines and important dates depend on admission round and type. Please select one of the following application cycles to find out when each part of your application and financial aid information is due and when you’ll hear about your admission decision.
First-Year Applicants. We consider you a first-year applicant if: You are still in high school at the time you apply, You have completed high school but have not yet started college, You have completed less than one year of full-time study (approximately 30 credits) at the college level. Sarah Lawrence offers four different application cycles.

Tuition & Costs. The fees for tuition and room include expenses connected with the education and residence of the student. The cost of books and supplies needed for course work is not included. Students usually budget an additional $900-$1,200 for books, supplies, recreation, and personal items. Several meal plans are available at additional cost.
