The 1532 Performing Arts Centre opened in September 2016 providing state-of-the-art facilities for music, dance and drama at Bristol Grammar School. 1532 has multiple spaces, all of which are available to hire. A versatile auditorium with retractable seating for between 245-320 audience members which can accommodate a range of stage layouts.
During the course of each year, your child will be offered the chance to experience learning outside of the classroom and enjoy opportunities in the form of trips or visitor events at School. Fieldwork, in subjects such as Geography and Biology, allows your son or daughter to apply their learning to real life situations.

Pupils have the opportunity to take LAMDA lessons and examinations in Speech and Drama. The thirty-minute lessons take place during the school day, with children rotated out of their normal lessons.
